Help Wanted

As per my new training schedule, tomorrow is yoga day.  I have yet to find an at home yoga workout that I can do.  Any suggestions from my fellow runners and readers?

DVDs, online/YouTube, Wii games, whatevs.  Anything that is at least a 30 minute start to finish routine/session that actually walks me through the workout.

Thanks in advance,

Polly is still my absolute fav! She doesn't have a 30 minute segment Youtube video but she has several that are somewhere between 7 and 10 minutes. I open 3-4 routines that I want to do and each in its own tab. Then I do one after another. It's great because it is a tailored yoga routine each day for what I am in the mood for. Her yoga for runner's video is so great! I continue to stumble upon Tara Stiles, too. Her segments are much shorter but I think she has dvds out.

I know there are a lot others that I am sure you have come across. Good luck finding the right one for you:)

  2. Nikki, I know you love Polly and I've looked at some of her videos per your suggestions. I haven't found any that "speak" to me, but as she seems my best option so far, I'll give her another shot tomorrow! I'll also check out Tara Stiles. Thanks, hun! xo

  3. You're welcome:) And I totally understand. Like most things, this is so personal. Like you said, it really has to speak to you and it can take awhile before you find the right teacher and style. I hope your yoga journey is just as enriching for you as your final destination will be.

  4. On my own quest for more yoga resources, I recently found these:
    http://www.doyogawithme.com/
    http://www.yogajournal.com/
    http://www.myyogaonline.com/
The first one has lots of free classes of varying types. The second has classes but they're limited. The third has lots to offer but you have to pay a fee. However, $10 a month for unlimited online classes seems like a pretty good deal. Let me know if you try any and what you think.
